Why Buy a Fremont Home?

If you want a place where a modern city meets the beauty of the countryside, then Fremont, California is surely perfect for you. You can enjoy the features of a modern city but at the same time, a taste of the countryside is just a few minutes drive. Because of this feature, Fremont has become one of the places to live and a huge demand of Fremont real estate has arose in the past years. Usually when my clients ask what makes Fremont stand out from the rest, I would point out the following features of the city.

Fremont is a city in California that belongs to the Alameda County. Originally, this was not a city but rather is the result of five communities being merged together. The communities of Niles, Centerville, Mission San Jose, Warm Springs and Irvington were merged in the year 1956 to give the city its current location. There have been theories about the origin of the name of the city but most would credit it to John Charles Fremont. There have a lot of people living in the areas as shown in the 2010 census.

As of 2010, Fremont has about 214,089 residents living in various households. The city has a population density of about 2,443.7 which refers to the number of people living in a square mile. Just like other cities in the area, most of the residents are white but there are other people who belong to other races. Because the city is originally composed of different communities, this is typically a residential city and has some of the best communities in the whole bay area.

When considering the education for your kids, Fremont can address the needs of your kids. Fremont is the center of the Fremont Unified School district. Your kids in high school can have many schools to choose from. This includes Irvington, Mission San Jose, Washington, American and Kennedy along with Newark Memorial High School as well as James Logan High School. When your kids are already in college, they can go to Ohlone College or go to the Fremont campus of the University of California, Berkeley.

You won’t worry about employment when living in Fremont too. You can either work at the top employers of the city. This includes Fremont Unified School District which has about 3,000 employees or you can apply in Washington Hospital which has about 1,800 employees. If you don’t prefer companies with many employees, you can work for Sysco San Francisco which has only about 750 employees. You surely will have a good time staying at the same time earning for your family in Fremont.
